Jay’s company, Velomon is a result of his experience working with clients and their financial and retirement plans. He discovered, with stunning consistency – that almost everyone has vast financial inefficiencies built into their financial plans.

Some of those inefficiencies stem from a lack of knowledge, many from the way the financial services industry is incentivized to dispense advice.

Jay has been in his current role for 18 years following a successful career as a corporate executive where he most recently served as the CEO of a worldwide relocation company – Allied Van Lines.

He is a teacher, trainer, speaker, media personality, and he has written three books including, Rigged, Unlearning Mainstream Financial Propaganda and Building your Personal Fortune; and 401 (Not) OK – the Sixteen Things you Agreed to when you said “Yes” to the 401k and a new children’s Christmas book, The Night the Animals Met the King.

Jay is husband to Julie, father of two adult daughters, and grandfather to two granddaughters. He is an Indianapolis native. Jay and Julie enjoy Kayaking, pickleball, biking, good friends, and great food.
